Ballot Bootcamp 2026

Join the Lincoln Club Business League, the California Restaurant Association, San Diego County Chapter, the Building Industry Association of San Diego, and the San Diego Association of Realtors for Ballot Bootcamp: Be Ballot Ready, a fast-paced breakdown of the state and local measures San Diegans will be voting on this November.
Hear from supporters and opponents, get the key facts, and better understand what each measure would do, what it could cost, and the arguments on both sides.
Free for members of sponsor organizations and their guests. Bring your ballot. Hear both sides. Vote informed.

Members-Only Endorsement Hearing on Zoom

One of the signature benefits of Lincoln Club membership is the opportunity to participate directly in our endorsement process.
Join Endorsement Committee Co-Chairs Paul Hegyi and Maggie Sleeper for our final scheduled Endorsement Committee hearing of the 2026 election cycle on Wednesday, October 14 at 9:00 AM via Zoom.
This hearing will focus on the state and local ballot initiatives under consideration for Lincoln Club endorsement. Members will discuss the measures before the committee and vote on recommendations to the Lincoln Club Board of Directors.
Members are strongly encouraged to attend Ballot Bootcamp the day before the hearing. On Tuesday, October 13 at Portuguese Hall, Ballot Bootcamp will provide an in-depth look at the measures San Diegans will see on their November ballots, including perspectives from supporters and opponents. There will not be separate presentations from proponents and opponents during the October 14 Endorsement Committee hearing, so Ballot Bootcamp is your opportunity to learn about the initiatives before we take them up for endorsement.
This event is open to current Lincoln Club members only. RSVP is required. Zoom credentials will be provided to confirmed attendees.

Lincoln Club Members-Only Silver Reception

Join the Lincoln Club Business League for one of our favorite member traditions, reimagined for 2026. This year’s Silver Reception is heading to The Old Globe in Balboa Park for an exclusive evening behind the curtain.
Silver, Gold, and Platinum members and their guests will enjoy hosted cocktails and heavy hors d’oeuvres from a private second-floor reception space above Lady Carolyn’s Pub, along with special access as Copley Plaza transforms for the holiday season, including the iconic Grinch Christmas tree.
The evening is presented by Jeff Redondo & Vidal Espinosa and Margarita & Philip Wilkinson, who share the unique distinction of serving as leaders of both the Lincoln Club and The Old Globe. They’ll also take us behind the curtain on what’s next for The Old Globe, offering Lincoln Club members an exclusive first look at significant plans for the future of its Balboa Park campus before they are unveiled to the public.
And because we fought so hard to keep parking in Balboa Park free, it would be a shame not to mention it: complimentary self-parking is available. But this is the Silver Reception, after all, so we’re hosting valet too. Your choice!
This event is exclusively open to current Silver, Gold, and Platinum members + one guest. Space is limited, and advance registration is required.
